Current Exercise Classes Tuesday night Spinning class has been discontinued. MORNING STEP AEROBICS is being held on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:00 a.m. by certified instructor Tabitha Bockelman. THURSDAY MORNING STEP AEROBICS is being held on Thursdays at 9:30 a.m. by certified instructor Tabitha Bockelman. Nancy McQuade Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Certified Sports Nutrition Specialist, & Certified Senior Fitness Specialist is teaching the following classes: CORE CHALLENGE: This workout concentrates on stabilizing and strengthening the core. A strong core reduces back pain and improves posture. An abs workout is part of this plan. Looks easy but this workout is a challenge. Meets Mondays 5:45 - 6:30 a.m. GENTLE WORKOUT: This is a complete workout that utilizes light resistance and incorporates stretches and yoga. GENTLE WORKOUT is great for those new to the gym, those recovering from an injury or those just wanting a relaxing but full body workout. Plus the workout is user friendly!! Meets Mondays 7:00-7:45 p.m. KICK IT UP: This is a high intensity, complete workout for those who want to get their heart rate up and increase endurance. Cardio is definitely a part of this plan! This is a BRING IT ON workout designed for you. Meets Wednesdays 5:45 - 6:30 a.m. CIRCUIT TRAINING: Meets Fridays 4:45 p.m. To sign up call Nancy McQuade at 712-369-9856, leave a message if no answer. ZUMBA will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesdays, 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday nights, 5:30 p.m. on Thursday nights, and 9:00 a.m. on Fridays. Certified instructor Christi Ladwig will be leading the class. SPINNING taught by FRIDAY MORNING SPINNING will be held every Friday from No sign-up required for the following classes, just show up for class: MORNING CIRCUIT TRAINING taught by EVENING CIRCUIT TRAINING taught by YOGA taught by Joyce Schnabel will be held on Wednesdays at Exercise Class Payments: A recreation center punch card can be purchased for all exercise classes (excluding Tabitha Bockleman's classes). The cost is $50.00 for members and $55.00 for non-members. There are 20 punches on a card with two punches being used for each class (value of $5.00 per class for members and $5.50 for non-members). A punch card is required to attend class. Your punch card will only be punched if you attend class so you are not out anything if you can’t make it. The punch card can also be used for daily admission if you are a non-member or your guests if you are a member. Punch cards do not expire.
